Acetal C 10% PE Filled Light Blue Sheet is a high performance engineering plastic with product characteristics including excellent sliding properties, high dimensional stability and FDA Food Approval (177.2470/177.1520/178.2010). Meets FDA standards and is USDA approved.
The long term service temperature range of Acetal C Sheet is from -40°C to 100°C. Properties include low friction, high wear resistance, and ease of fabrication.
Applications:
Typical fields of application for Acetal C Sheet include food and drink processing industries, mechanical engineering and electrical industries. It is an excellent material for bearings, gears, cams, and other small parts.
- Acetal Sheet is very popular in food preparation or production companies as the natural grade is totally food contact safe as it resists t he ability for any bacteria to form or be absorbed in any way and is non toxic. Usually acetal sheets are offered in blue for the food industry and for food production machinery.
- Acetal C Sheet is a material well suited to CNC milling, CNC Routing and CNC turning. Similar materials available from us include Acetal C Extruded Blue Sheet and Nylon 6 PE Filled Green Sheet.
- ACETAL C with PE filler has excellent load-bearing qualities in both tension and compression. Acetal does not absorb a large amount of moisture and are resistant to a wide range of solvents. Acetals are attacked by both strong acids and oxidizing agents.
- Food Safe Acetal sheets with PE have high yield strength at elevated temperatures.
