PFA is a strong, flexible, and transparent fluoropolymer widely used in flexible piping and fluid handling equipment. Its high purity, chemical resistance, and excellent electrical properties make it ideal for operation in extreme temperatures and harsh chemical environments. PFA, or perfluoroalkoxy, was developed as a high-temperature version of FEP. PFA has similar properties to FEP, but due to lower melt viscosity than PTFE, it can be used at operating temperatures up to +260°C while maintaining fusible processability.
Performance features:
Low coefficient of friction
Low moisture absorption
Low smoke intensity
Good Electrical Properties
Good Creep Resistance
Good Melt Strength
Good Flexibility
High Flow
Good chemical resistance
Good weather resistance
Good thermal stability
Toughness
Application fields:
Wire and cable applications, industrial application, insulation
