PA , usually called nylon, can also be called polyamide. In general, PA /nylon is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic with low density and high thermal stability. Polyamides are one of the most important and useful thermoplastic engineering plastics due to their excellent wear resistance, good friction coefficient and very good temperature and impact properties. In addition, polyamide (nylon) exhibits very good chemical resistance and is a particularly oil resistant plastic. Due to the excellent balance of properties, PA plastic is an ideal alternative to metal in many applications. Nylon plastic has a certain moisture absorption, so its dimensional stability is weaker than other engineering plastics. From the hard and tough PA66 material to the soft and flexible PA12 material, different series of polyamides have different properties.
