Our PVDF+CF Rod is a premium engineering thermoplastic reinforced with 25-30% carbon fiber. Designed to overcome the limitations of standard PVDF, it offers a superior balance of mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and electrostatic dissipation (ESD).
 Key Advantages:
 - Superior Strength: Boasts a tensile strength of 100 MPa, providing significantly higher rigidity and impact resistance than standard PVDF.
- Dimensional Stability: Exhibits extremely low water absorption (0.04%) and minimal shrinkage (0.4-0.6%), ensuring machined parts maintain precision tolerances in wet environments.
- ESD Safe: The carbon fiber filling provides electrical conductivity, making it ideal for static-sensitive environments like semiconductor manufacturing.
 Applications:
Perfect for precision gears, pump components, semiconductor wafer handling equipment, and chemical processing machinery parts where accuracy and durability are critical.
 

Product Parameters

Excellent Dimensional Stability
 - Principle: Carbon fibers act as reinforcing fillers, restricting the movement of PVDF molecular chains.
- Performance: Exhibits extremely low shrinkage (0.4% - 0.6%) and a very low coefficient of thermal expansion. Machined parts resist deformation under temperature changes and maintain precision tolerances over long periods.
 2. High Strength & Stiffness
 - Principle: The high-strength nature of carbon fibers endows the material with superior tensile strength and flexural modulus.
- Performance: Offers over 50% higher strength than virgin PVDF, enabling it to withstand greater mechanical loads without breaking.
 3. Electrostatic Dissipation / Conductivity (ESD)
 - Principle: Carbon fibers form a conductive network throughout the material.
- Performance: With a surface resistivity typically between 10^3 - 10^6 \Omega, it effectively dissipates static electricity and prevents dust adsorption. This is the core reason for its application in the semiconductor industry.
 4. Good Chemical Resistance
 - Principle: Retains the excellent acid, alkali, and solvent resistance inherent to the PVDF base material.
