Our PA11 Rod is a high-performance engineering plastic extrusion with excellent toughness, low moisture absorption, and superior chemical resistance to oils, solvents, and weak alkalis. Featuring a molding shrinkage rate of 0.8-1.4% and a tensile strength of 45-55 MPa, it delivers exceptional dimensional stability for precision machining. Ideal for manufacturing wear-resistant components like bushings, gears, and hydraulic system parts, it suits automotive, aerospace, and fluid handling industries. Lightweight yet durable, it stands out as a cost-effective alternative to metal.
1. Mechanical Properties: Excellent toughness and impact resistance, with an elongation at break of over 200%. It maintains good flexibility even in low-temperature environments and is not prone to embrittlement.
2. Chemical Resistance: High resistance to oils, fuels, solvents, weak acids and alkalis, and is not easily corroded. It is suitable for components related to fluid transmission and automotive fuel systems.
3. Low Water Absorption: The saturated water absorption rate is only about 1.1%. It features good dimensional stability after water absorption, and the reduction range of mechanical properties is much lower than that of PA6 and PA66.
4. Weather Resistance: Strong UV resistance and anti-aging performance, which can be used in outdoor environments for a long time without easy yellowing or performance degradation.
5. Processability: Easy to extrude, inject mold and machine process, with stable molding shrinkage rate (0.8%-1.4%), and can be made into high-precision parts.
6. Lightweight Advantage: With a density of only 1.04 g/cm³, which is 1/7-1/8 of that of metals, it can realize lightweight design of components and reduce overall energy consumption.
