This 40% glass fiber reinforced PPS rod is a high-performance engineering composite ideal for demanding industrial applications. Boasting exceptional mechanical strength with a tensile strength range of 145-196 MPa, it exhibits minimal water absorption (0.015%-0.06% at 23ºC for 24h) and low molding shrinkage (0.2%-0.7%), ensuring superior dimensional stability.
Resistant to chemicals, high temperatures and corrosion, it suits sectors like automotive, aerospace and electrical engineering. Its robust properties enable long-term use in harsh environments, making it a reliable choice for precision components, structural parts and insulation elements.
1. Excellent Mechanical Properties: The tensile strength reaches 145-196 MPa, with high rigidity, flexural resistance and creep resistance, which can meet the load-bearing requirements of industrial structural components.
2. Ultra-low Water Absorption: The water absorption rate is only 0.015%-0.06% after immersion at 23ºC for 24 hours, and the dimensions and performance show almost no fluctuation in humid environments.
3. Low Shrinkage Rate & High Dimensional Stability: The molding shrinkage rate is 0.2%-0.7%, with little difference between the shrinkage in the flow direction and transverse direction, ensuring no easy deformation after processing.
4. Outstanding Chemical Resistance: It is resistant to most chemicals such as acids, alkalis and organic solvents, and is not prone to corrosion and degradation.
5. Good Heat Resistance: The continuous service temperature can exceed 200ºC, and the short-term heat resistance temperature is higher, maintaining stable performance in high-temperature environments.
6. Superior Electrical Insulation: It has excellent dielectric properties, making it suitable for manufacturing insulating parts in the electrical and electronic fields.
