Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is a high-performance fluoropolymer with exceptional chemical resistance, low water absorption and excellent mechanical properties. It features a water absorption rate of only 0.01-0.04% at 23°C for 24 hours, ensuring superior dimensional stability in humid or aqueous environments.
With a tensile yield strength of 50-60 MPa and a linear mold shrinkage rate of 0.2-2.0%, PVDF solid bars and rods offer high structural integrity and precise forming characteristics. The material also boasts outstanding thermal stability, UV resistance and creep resistance, suitable for long-term use in harsh conditions.
Extruded PVDF products are widely applied in chemical processing, semiconductor, water treatment and aerospace industries, ideal for manufacturing valves, pumps, pipes, fittings and structural components that require corrosion resistance and high purity. Virgin PVDF grades ensure consistent quality and reliable performance for critical industrial applications.
