Product Description
BASF P3010 PPSU Rod is a high-performance engineering plastic extrusion, boasting excellent heat resistance, chemical inertness, and impact strength. With a low water absorption rate (1.2% saturated at 23°C) and minimal shrinkage (0.9-1.0%), it ensures dimensional stability in precision machining. Featuring a tensile strength of 74.0MPa, this rod offers reliable mechanical performance for industrial applications. Non-toxic and sterilizable, it's ideal for medical devices, food processing equipment, and chemical handling components. BASF's premium P3010 grade guarantees consistent quality, making it a trusted choice for demanding engineering projects.
2. Heat Resistance & Stability: Withstands ultra-high temperature steam at 134ºC, compatible with microwave/boiling water sterilization. Maintains mechanical properties and dimensional stability under high temperatures, with a heat distortion temperature of 198ºC.
3. Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength of 74MPa, excellent rigidity and toughness. No fracture in unnotched impact test at 23ºC, shockproof and shatter-resistant, durable for repeated use.
4. Chemical & Corrosion Resistance: Hydrolysis and chemical resistant, non-staining when in contact with fruit juice, tea, etc. Oil-resistant, suitable for multi-environment applications.
5. Processability: Medium-high viscosity, compatible with injection molding, extrusion blow molding and hot runner processing (zero waste). Enables complex shape design with high molding efficiency.
6. Other Advantages: Flame-retardant grade with excellent electrical insulation performance.
