Conductive ETFE Rod
Conductive ETFE rod is a high-performance engineering plastic bar manufactured from ethylene tetrafluoroethylene resin blended with carbon-based conductive fillers. It combines excellent chemical resistance, mechanical strength and stable electrical conductivity, making it ideal for precision anti-static and corrosion-resistant applications.
This product features low water absorption, good dimensional stability and outstanding wear resistance. It maintains reliable performance within a wide temperature range and offers excellent machinability for turning, milling and drilling. With controllable surface resistivity, it effectively prevents static buildup while providing strong resistance to chemicals, UV radiation and weathering.
Suitable for semiconductor handling components, electronic fixtures, chemical processing parts and anti-static structural components, it delivers long-term stability in demanding industrial environments.
Core Properties of Conductive ETFE Rod
- Stable Conductivity / Anti-Static
Surface resistivity ranges from 10³-10 Ω/sq, suitable for anti-static, static-dissipative and light electromagnetic shielding applications.
- Excellent Chemical Resistance
Resistant to most acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and oxidants, with corrosion resistance close to PTFE.
- Balanced Mechanical Properties
High toughness, impact resistance and flex resistance; tensile strength is approximately 45-65 MPa, with better wear resistance than pure fluoroplastics.
- Dimensional Stability & Low Water Absorption
Water absorption rate <0.02% (nearly non-absorbent);
molding shrinkage 0.4%-1.0%, ensuring high precision in machining.
