Our PA12 rod is a high-performance nylon product ideal for medical, automotive, and electronic applications. Boasting ultra-low water absorption (0.2%-0.5%) and low shrinkage (0.5%-1.2%), it offers excellent dimensional stability and chemical resistance. With a tensile strength of 45-60MPa (up to 120MPa for glass fiber-reinforced grades), it ensures reliable durability. The medical-grade variant features biocompatibility and sterility, meeting strict industry standards. Available in various dimensions and specifications, it supports customized processing for diverse project needs.
Product Features
1. Low water absorption: Only 0.2%-0.5% (after 24h immersion), far superior to PA6/PA66, with extremely high dimensional stability.
2. Excellent environmental resistance: Resistant to low temperatures (still flexible at -40ºC) and chemicals (acids, alkalis, greases), and not easy to age.
3. Low shrinkage and easy processing: Shrinkage rate of 0.5%-1.2%, high precision after injection molding/cutting, and low scrap rate.
4. Good mechanical properties: Tensile strength of 45-60MPa, excellent toughness, and outstanding impact and fatigue resistance.
5. Biocompatibility: Medical-grade PA12 meets biosafety standards and can be used for medical devices.
