Our PFA rod is made of high-purity perfluoroalkoxy resin, featuring excellent high-temperature resistance (-200ºC~260ºC) and strong chemical corrosion resistance against acids, alkalis and organic solvents. With low water absorption (<0.05%) and good dimensional stability, it ensures reliable performance in harsh environments. Extruded with precision, the rod has smooth surface and uniform texture, supporting easy machining into seals, valves and structural parts. Compliant with FDA standards, it's widely applied in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and electronic industries.
1. Extreme Temperature Resistance: Long-term service temperature ranges from -200ºC to 260ºC, with instantaneous high-temperature resistance up to 300ºC, and stable performance under sudden cooling and heating.
2. Superior Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidants and various organic solvents, almost non-reactive with any chemical substances, and corrosion resistance level comparable to PTFE.
3. Low Hygroscopicity: Water absorption rate ≤0.05%, maintaining excellent insulation and dimensional stability in humid environments, no pre-drying required during processing.
4. Easy Processability: Can be melt extruded and injection molded (superior to PTFE's poor processability), capable of being made into plates, rods, tubes and precision parts with high molding efficiency.
5. Excellent Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength at break 20-30MPa, elongation at break 100%-300%, good toughness, creep resistance, and little degradation of mechanical properties at high temperatures.
