Our POM+AR composite is a high-performance material blending Polyoxymethylene (POM) with Aramid Fiber (AR). It boasts exceptional tensile strength (85-120MPa), low water absorption (≤0.3%), and reduced shrinkage (1.8-2.0%) compared to pure POM.
With outstanding wear resistance, heat resistance, and self-lubrication, it excels in high-friction, heavy-load scenarios like gears, bearings, and mechanical slides. Its stable dimensions and corrosion resistance ensure long service life. Ideal for automotive, electronics, and industrial machinery, it balances durability and processability for reliable part manufacturing.
1. High Strength & Tensile Resistance: Tensile strength reaches 85-120MPa, which is over 30% higher than that of pure POM. It can withstand greater external forces without breaking easily.
2. Low Water Absorption & Dimensional Stability: Water absorption rate is ≤0.3%, with minimal water molecule penetration. It has extremely small dimensional deformation during long-term use, meeting the needs of precision components.
3. Low Shrinkage & Easy Processing: Shrinkage rate is only 1.8%-2.0%, lower than pure POM. Parts have high precision after injection molding, reducing post-processing correction costs.
4. Wear Resistance & Self-Lubrication: Aramid fiber enhances wear resistance. It has a low friction coefficient and inherent lubricating properties, requiring no additional oiling and extending the service life of components.
5. Temperature Resistance & Corrosion Resistance: Its continuous-use temperature resistance is better than pure POM. It can also withstand common oils, weak acids and alkalis, making it suitable for multi-working-condition environments.
