Our polysulfone (PSU) rods are high-performance engineering plastic extrusions engineered for demanding industrial applications. Boasting low water absorption (0.22%-0.6% for 24h immersion), minimal molding shrinkage (0.2%-0.7%), and outstanding tensile strength (70MPa-125MPa), these rods deliver exceptional dimensional stability and structural integrity even in harsh environments. Available in grades like unfilled PSU and glass fiber-reinforced PSU GF30, with customizable diameters and colors including transparent, white and black, they are ideal for precision machined components, chemical processing equipment, electrical insulators and medical device parts. Easy to fabricate via cutting, drilling and milling, our PSU rods combine durability with versatility to meet the rigorous requirements of engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
1. Excellent Heat Resistance: Continuous service temperature up to 150ºC, with a short-term peak temperature resistance of approximately 180ºC. Maintains stable mechanical properties even in high-temperature environments.
2. Outstanding Chemical Stability: Resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohols and most organic solvents, and not prone to chemical degradation.
3. Good Dimensional Stability: Features low water absorption (0.1%~0.8%) and low molding shrinkage rate (0.1%~1.8%), with minimal deformation after processing.
4. Superior Mechanical Properties: Offers high tensile strength (42.7MPa~125MPa) and creep resistance, with no permanent deformation easily occurring under load.
