Our PA66 Rod is a high-performance engineering plastic solution tailored for industrial machining, automation components, and mechanical parts. Boasting exceptional tensile strength (80-90 MPa for unmodified grades) and excellent wear resistance, it delivers reliable performance in high-load applications. With a balanced water absorption rate of 8.0% at 23ºC/50% RH and a controlled shrinkage rate of 0.8-1.5%, it ensures stable dimensional accuracy post-processing.
Available in natural color and customizable diameters, our PA66 rods support precision machining, extrusion, and modification (e.g., glass fiber reinforcement). Ideal for gears, bushings, and structural components, they meet strict industrial standards. 1. Excellent Mechanical Properties: The tensile strength of the virgin material reaches 80-90 MPa, which can be increased to 150-180 MPa after glass fiber reinforcement. It features high rigidity and impact resistance, making it suitable for manufacturing load-bearing mechanical parts.
2. Wear Resistance & Self-lubrication: With a low friction coefficient and good wear resistance, it can be applied to gears, bearings, bushings and other components without additional lubrication, reducing operational wear and tear.
3. Good Chemical Resistance: It is resistant to most non-polar solvents such as alcohols, esters and hydrocarbons, and has a certain tolerance to weak acids and weak bases, but is susceptible to corrosion by strong acids and strong bases.
4. Strong Thermal Stability: The heat deflection temperature of the virgin material is approximately 60-80ºC, and can exceed 200ºC after glass fiber reinforcement, enabling stable performance in short-term high-temperature environments.
5. Water Absorption & Dimensional Stability: The equilibrium water absorption rate is about 8.0%. Its toughness improves after water absorption but with slight dimensional changes; the molding shrinkage rate ranges from 0.8% to 1.5%, which can be reduced to 0.2%-0.8% after reinforcement modification, enhancing dimensional stability.
6. Easy to Process & Mold: It supports multiple processes including extrusion, injection molding and machining. Customized rods and sheets of various specifications are available to meet diverse industrial customization needs.
