Halar® 901 is a co-polymer of ethylene and CTFE that is strong, stiff, impact resistant, and features excellent thermal properties and chemical permeation resistance. It ranks as ultrapure, is suitable for wetted parts, and can be welded and formed readily. Halar® ECTFE resists the full array of Semicon process chemicals and provides a cost effective option for chemical and corrosion resistance in higher-range temperature environments.
The copolymer's exceedingly smooth surface makes Halar® ECTFE ideal for resisting nucleation, sticking & fouling. Manufactured from 100% FM Listed Halar© 901 resin, it is an excellent low-cost alternative or replacement for PFA where temperature applications are limited to 140° C and lower.
