High-Performance Transparent TPX Sheet
Our TPX sheet (Polymethylpentene) boasts excellent transparency and heat resistance, withstanding up to 160ºC. It features good chemical stability, resisting most acids and solvents. Lightweight yet durable, it offers easy processing for various shapes. Compliant with food-grade and medical standards, it's ideal for packaging, medical devices, and high-temperature applications. Reliable performance meets diverse industrial needs.
1. Excellent Transparency: Light transmittance is over 90%, close to glass. It has good weather resistance and does not yellow easily after long-term use.
2. Outstanding Heat Resistance: Continuous service temperature reaches 120-140ºC, with a maximum short-term temperature resistance of 160ºC, and it can withstand steam sterilization.
3. Strong Chemical Stability: Resistant to corrosion by most acids, alkalis, alcohols and organic solvents, and not easily eroded by chemical media.
4. Lightweight and Mechanical Properties: With a density of only 0.83g/cm³, it is one of the lightest transparent plastics, while having certain rigidity and impact resistance.
5. Environmental Protection and Safety: Compliant with food contact safety standards (such as FDA certification), non-toxic and odorless. Some grades can be used in the medical field.
6. Easy Processability: Can be molded through conventional processes such as injection molding and extrusion, with good processing fluidity, suitable for products with complex shapes.
