PEEK is a unique semi-crystalline, thermoplastic engineering plastic with excellent chemical compatibility. The long-term use temperature of parts made of high-temperature PEEK is as high as 260 degrees, and its melting point is about 341 degrees. PEEK is often used in hot water or steam environments and maintains high levels of physical properties such as flexural strength and tensile strength despite harsh environments.
Performance features:
Excellent dimensional stability
Non-flammable, self-extinguishing
High radiation tolerance
Excellent slippability
Wear resistance
Achieve a perfect balance of stiffness, tensile strength and impact strength
Low creep tendency
low coefficient of linear thermal expansion
Good toughness and rigidity
Good insulation performance
Application fields:
Parts that need to be exposed to high temperatures, mechanical loads or X-ray or gamma ray conditions.
